Shimmer Twin - Time To Stand Up

In 1989 our group Benny Profane toured Poland, Latvia, Lithuania & Russia.
Leningrad was the final gig of the tour.
Wojciech Kedzior from Warszawa was our tour manager, think Mark E Smith or David Bradley [Kes]

Wojciech [pronounced Voychek] was the man who got us to the train/taxi/4am 'taking the chickens to market' bus on time.

Most nights on the tour would find us in a restaurant after the gig, Wojciech would disappear into the kitchen & emerge with a crate of Vodka & a crate of Champagne to take back to the hotel/hostel. we'd drink the lot, often as not he would then pass out in your room.

He had the ability to wake up at whatever time we needed to be leaving for the next gig, He'd wake with a start, say "Now is time to stand up", & away we'd go.
